int()
Return integer portion
number. Alternatively you can use commands fix() and floor() .
Syntax:
integer
= int(
number
)
integer
= fix(
number
)
integer
= floor(
number
)
Example:
print int(
3.1415927 )
print int( 3.6666666 )
note that will be
outputted number 3 for either lines: decimals are simply truncated and
the integer part returned.
